its funny, i was going crazy waiting for the preseason to start, now i can't wait for it to end. A healthy discussion of the games is fine, but ITS THE PRE SEASON! The Jazz are carving it up, a lot of the top teams are doing nothin, and fans of all teams are either stating as fact that their bottom dwelling team is gonna make a run in the playoffs, or that their playoff team is going to the Lottery. ITS THE PRE SEASON!:upset:

right, i feel a bit better now, apolgies for the rant, and it wasn't directed many at Celtic fans

Celtic nation needs to exhibit some patience.

I think we were all expecting to see a whole new run and gun team on the court blowing away teams like Russell and Cousy did. Well Russell and Cousy are not going to walk through those doors and if they did they would be gray and old (please excuse me for the Pitino humor). Expectations are dangerous. The Celtics will change. They have to change. Danny Ainge is putting his reputation on the line and he is a determined man. Danny went public on TNT during the playoffs criticizing the Celtics offense. Now he is in control. If the offense does not improve then he must answer to the "Fellowship of the Miserable". But it will change; it is just going to take time.

The author of the Hoopsworld article is reading way too much into a comment made by Antoine Walker. He refers to the "grind". The author assumes that Walker means that the C's will be going back to the terrible grinding offense of a year ago. I am sure that in many half court situations we will see the same old two man game. So what?! I love it when Paul or Toine are in the zone and hitting. Why change that? I am not so sure that that is all that Walker is talking about. The length of the NBA season is often called the "grind". During parts of the season players, and coaches aften go back into what is comfortable and what is successful. Just because Antoine makes one comment don't assume that plans for a Celtic running game are gone.

It is wise to be patient. THIS IS THE PRESEASON!!!
