Celtics Still Tanking

I said weeks ago that if the C's wanted to make the playoffs they had to play Brandon Hunter and sit McCarty. When they tried that, it had exactly the effect I thought it would: they started winning.

But now they are winning too much and in danger of making the playoffs. So, Hunter's minutes have been drastically cut back, and once again we are treated to the spectacle of Walter flopping around out there and hoisting up 3's.

Danny really wants that lotto pick.

The worst thing is, we aren't getting a high pick.
Most of the time there are no superstars in the 10-13 range....unless you get REALLY lucky.

It's a sad team when the rookies out play the vets that were starting for the past 2 years and still get the majority of the minutes.

It makes me sick watching Hunter, Banks, and Perkins rot on the bench, and add Mihm to that list too, because that kid has talent and he's barely playing now too. I can't stand it.

Hunter should be playing a minimum of 30 minutes per game. Hell, I wouldn't mind him playing 40 and Waltah playing 8 , Hunter brings alot of toughness to the table, and I LOVE IT.

Didn't watch the Knicks/Lakers game but in the T'Wolves game, we clearly needed more size down low. Kandi and KG were killing us with the blocks. And the Mihm/Blount combination worked pretty well in that game.

Yes, because they took McCarty out. Hunter actually played very good defense on Garnett in the first half, and I think yould have done about as well as Mihm. But I had no problem with that move.

I don't understand either now Hunter is back to playing 8-10 minutes a game and we get killed with offensive rebounds with Walter in the game, why the hell would Mihm only play 10 minutes a game and why can't they find 5-10 minutes at least for Perkins to play, I don't understand it either, Why would Mihm want to play here if he is only going to get 10 minutes a game he is going to want to go somewhere where he is going to play.

Maybe they want to decrease his salarie for next season....but either way they'll have to pay him 4 million at least.
