Red face Snow

How about that? What a fun day, huh?

This is unbelievable. I couldn't believe it.

I wake up turn on the TV and see that every single school is cancled and every city has issued parking bans. I do nothing till around 10 then go out and shovel some snow...boy that was fun...not. In the middle of shoveling I get some help from the rain...I finished in about an hour.

Next thing you know, around noon, the snow starts again and starts to ****ing bombard you.

It went from clean to about 10 inches in three hours. Wow...

(Yes, I know, horribly constructed thread.)

Anyone else hit so bad?

BTW it was THUNDERING and SNOWING. First time I've ever seen that.

Re: Snow

And my dad made me shovel WHEN IT WAS STILL SNOWING. So i literally had to go out 2 hours later and shovel some more. Pissed me off. The reason i made 2 posts is because i kinda got away from my double-posting tradition

Re: Snow

For the record, thunder snow, while rare, is a perfectly normal wheather phenomenon.

What happened was that, if you noticed, there was snow as a cold pocket of air was circling over the city. Then, it switched to rain suddenly as a warmer pocket (perhaps 35 degrees, as opposed to twenty) moved in. Then, the cold air rushed back in as the low pressure warm air was forced up. That happened so quickly and so suddenly that the ammount of friction created was enough to spark off a lightning storm.

Fun facts you learn when your boss used to be a wheather man.
