Missed Utah St and Air Force. Had Hofstra and Missouri St instead. Well at least the committee picked mid-majors instead of these two. If it was up to Jim Nancy and Billy Fudge Packer, we would just take the big 6 conferences, and have a good old 73 team tournament.
Every year someone from the MWC or WAC gets in unexpectedly. Basically it is the expectation - the highest RPI team to get an at-large is almost always from one of these conferences. (UTEP, Utah St in prior years as well, New Mexico, Air Force in prior year)
Way off one some seeds however (more then normal).... I'll blame it on the committee

:
Team (Me, Actual)
Bradley (8,13) - This team was the most impressive team in the MVC down the stretch, and seemed to be the last team in. Retarted.
Texas A&M (9,12) - Deserved higher IMO, as they have played tough lately, and your not going to convince me that an 11-7 record in the PAC-10 is 4 seeds better then 10-6 in the Big-12.
Arizona (11,8) - I guess a ****ty resume with a good RPI only helps you if you are in a power conference. And calling the Pac-10 that this year, is perhaps too much of a compliment. Arizona is no better then Missouri St this year... the Pac-10 is no better then the MVC this year... just a better name.
Tennessee (5,2) - What??? Did the committee get together on Feb 25 to do these rankings?
Southern Illinois (6,11) - Admittedly I was a little generous to the conference tournament champion. But an 11 seed. Total lack of respect for the MVC.
California (10,7) - Alot of people thought Cal would miss, which was stupid. They were solidly inn for a while, based on their good Pac-10 record, and the fact that there losses were sans Powe. Still a little too much respect granted by the commitee, but I can live with this one.
