The Anti-Bracket

This year I am basically going to pick the teams that everybody loves to lose, and the teams that everyone says are going to be upset to win.

I am tired of getting my *** kicked ... at least them I will have tried to get my *** kicked.

So need some feedback, to get some consensus:

By seed which team do you expect to go the farthest, and which one will get knocked out early:

#1 seed - UConn is the best IMO so I will have them lose in the sweet 16. Memphis is the worst so I will have them win the final four

#2 seed: I think everybody hates Tennessee... there making it to my final four. I would think Texas would get the most love.... there losing in the second round.

#3 seed: Everyone knows that I think Gonzaga is vulnerable.... so there in my final four.... Florida is the best of the bunch IMO... bye bye in the second round

#4 seed: The best is Kansas IMO.... Out in the first round....

#5 seed: Everybody has Syracuse to lose to A&M ... so there beating Duke in the Sweet 16

Anyway, other thoughts are welcome.

Re: The Anti-Bracket

Nope. To be consistent, you must have Duke losing in the 1st or 2nd round to either Southern or UNC-W/GW.

Florida still coached by Billy Donovan, right? That means they will lose in the 1st round; 2nd if they're lucky.

Re: The Anti-Bracket

So your saying Florida is in the final four then? Damn this might be difficult.

Anyway, my current final four is as follows. I followed the 2 one, 1 two, and 1 three fina four:
Duke (everybody says they are struggling, winning close games, ... so they win the title... they are the second best team.. so in my mind that is the national champ)
Villanova (the Ray effect, people will say they are ripe for an upset.. make the final four)
Tennessee (I hate this 2 seed... we need a non number 1 seed in the final... Tennesse it is)
Gonzaga (there just not very good... final four it is... + I see alot of love for Memphis right now... so Gonzaga over Memphis)

Re: The Anti-Bracket

Struggling with the 4 seed right now. I want to pick a first round upset, and it seems like people are in love with BC and Kansas:

Problem is BC is playing Pacific.... and Pacific has beaten Big East teams the last two years... so it seems to be to easy to say that Pacific will do it again.

Kansas - Bradley... Kansas should be a 3 seed IMO... but they usually underperform in the tournament... so If I pick against them, I am going with history... must avoid history.

Everybody is saying A&M over Syracuse? I am, but I haven't seen that anywhere else. G-Mac is riding a huge wave of love right now, and after winning the Big East Tournament I would think most people will have them going far, especially with Boeheim's reputation.

I see a lot of love for BC, Southern Illinois, Kansas, UCLA (on espn), Illlinois, and I think the most common cinderella pick is UWM over Oklahoma.

You might be right on the Syracuse thing... I tend to notice any people who pick against them because I ama fan.

Your right on Wisconsin - Milwaukee... they have historically had close games or wins in the tourney, and Oklahoma has been a dud.

So defintely Oklahoma over Wisc-Milwaukee for this bracket.
