After looking at them a little more, I feel they'll make it. They're in the MVC, which only has two loosing records (Evansville and Indiana St) so it's not a chump conference. The win against Wisconsin will help them big time when the commitee looks at them. One thing that I think would almost make it a sure thing is if they could've beaten S. Ill the second time around, (final score was 51-47.)

But yes, I see them making it.

I'm a little biased here because I was telling everyone I knew that this was the team to look out for from the MVC before the season began. Unfortunately, it looks like Southern Illinois and Creighton are a little bit better. However, Missouri St. is probably more balanced than either team, and if Blake Ahearn (go watch this kid ASAP if you haven't) gets hot, they could make a nice run. Anyways, this team deserves to be in the tourney after getting snubbed with an RPI of 21 last year. 12-6 in the MVC puts you squarely on the bubble, so Missouri St. has to at least win one game in their conference tourney to get in. I don't think they'll have a problem with that, but you never know. The neutral win over Wisconsin will come in very handy, as will wins @ Bradley, @ Northern Iowa, and @ Wichita St. I think they make it.

I know this is the way the resume gets presented on TV but it is pretty much useless resume. It tell's us very little

Presenting both the RPI and SOS as two main factors is inherently dumb, since the SOS is a key driver of the RPI... how many times I have heard broadcasters say there RPI and SOS is good as if they are two totally different concepts.. they are not morons. Committee will look at RPI if they want to use a formula to compare teams... they will not compare SOS.

Here are the key items in resume (in order):
1. Conference Win-Loss (Especially if you are in a top seven conference)
2. RPI
3. Top 50, Top 100 Record (they will at the wins as a whole, not individual key win)
Way down into almost irrelevancy... bad losses.
