Congrats to the Committee
They might have no logic behind some of there seeds, and who got in, but at the end of the day they did not have BYU play on Sunday dammit.
Way to go boys, you did better then some of the other committees who couldn't even do that right (except when it comes to more imoportant things like letting in mid-majors and seeding teams). But at the end of the day you got BYU in the right day. Brilliant.

Re: Congrats to the Committee
There were too many elite mid-major teams losing in their conference tournaments. The mid-majors screwed the mid-majors. Nevada and Butler are the reason Drexel isn't in.
I'd also like to say that V.Tech and Virginia are ridiculously overseeded. How are they drastically better than Boston College? People out here claim Marquette got hosed, but I think they were maybe a 7, but not a 5 certainly.

Re: Congrats to the Committee
Even though I wish BYU wasn't in Ohio State's bracket. I wish they were in the weakest quadrant of the bracket.

Should I be all smiles and giggles that Stanford got in the tournament over Syracuse or Drexel. (BTW your response could be a little more timely)

You shouldn't be surprised. I said all along that Stanford would get in. Now if only the committee didn't have Louisville playing IN Kentucky, I'd say Stanford would win that game. But Louisville is a good team, and they have home court, so it'll be tough.

Re: Congrats to the Committee
BYU wouldn't have accepted an invite had they to play on Sunday, it was the right move.
Now selecting Stanford over Air Force...that's another issue altogether.

Re: Congrats to the Committee
I didn't think the committee did a terrible job...I thought there were a few teams that should have been in, and that there's a few teams in the tournament that shouldn't be in, but there's gonna be those arguments every year. My biggest gripe with the whole process was the things that a lot of people overlook, the overseeding/underseeding of the smaller schools.
Can the selection committee really justify giving Long Beach St. a higher seed than Davidson?
Can the selection committee really justify putting Niagra in the play-in game ahead of Central UConn or Jackson State?
These things are minor, but there's no way they can justify that. Those issues need to be addressed further in the future.
