Their resume isn't great, but it's certainly good enough to get in when the bubble is so bad this season, even if they do lose to MSU in the Big 10 tourney.

If you think they have work to do, then please tell me how their resume is worse than Syracuse, Ole Miss, Florida, etc.

I think its pretty good. Not counting the four ranked teams in our conference we played. We went out of our conference too play UNC (#1 team in Nation) Tennessee (was #1) and Florida which is on the rise.

I would have said their scoring has been at a low this season. But that 3-2 zone that they play is one of the best.

Are you serious. You actually think its something good to go 8-4 against Minnesota, Iowa, Penn St, Michigan, Northwestern and Illinois.... that's horrible.

There probably in pretty good shape.

Overall, the bubble played fairly well this week. Ohio St is probably on the good side of the line right now, but they better win one game in the NCAA.

Well if we had done any better we wouldn't be a bubble team we would be a top 25 team. On the road anywhere in a conference game is a tough one, if its Northwestern too Indiana.

I was making my post on the fact that we've played some good Big Ten teams. But we've also went out of the conference and played some really good teams.

not saying ohio state should be out, but this comment got me thinking... so what? did you beat any of them? SOS is easily the most overrated stat in bracketology because it is already taken into account in the rpi. to me, the sos tells me how good your schedule was and the rpi tells me how you performed against it. this is how you can compare a team that went 18-12 vs a very hard schedule and a 24-4 team against a very soft schedule.

it's not who you played, it's who you beat. that's why ohio state and syracuse are on the bubble, they both played tough schedules, but haven't beaten anyone until recently.

to me, this is why we should look at record vs. the rpi top 50 and 100 instead of straight wins.

example, one team goes 2-1 vs the top 50, another team goes 2-9. all computer numbers being being equal, the first should get in first for taking better advantage of their opportunities.
