Re: In or Out: OHIO STATE (02-15-08)
Their resume isn't great, but it's certainly good enough to get in when the bubble is so bad this season, even if they do lose to MSU in the Big 10 tourney.
If you think they have work to do, then please tell me how their resume is worse than Syracuse, Ole Miss, Florida, etc.

I would have said their scoring has been at a low this season. But that 3-2 zone that they play is one of the best.

There probably in pretty good shape. Overall, the bubble played fairly well this week. Ohio St is probably on the good side of the line right now, but they better win one game in the NCAA. |

I was making my post on the fact that we've played some good Big Ten teams. But we've also went out of the conference and played some really good teams.

it's not who you played, it's who you beat. that's why ohio state and syracuse are on the bubble, they both played tough schedules, but haven't beaten anyone until recently. to me, this is why we should look at record vs. the rpi top 50 and 100 instead of straight wins. example, one team goes 2-1 vs the top 50, another team goes 2-9. all computer numbers being being equal, the first should get in first for taking better advantage of their opportunities. |
