does that change anything i said? doherty didn't kill the program. there was tons of talent in the program. winning brought back the enthusiasm more than anything and that came from the improvement in coaching and as the talented players matured. you are acting like roy williams came in and built that program out of nothing.

As a UNC fan, Doherty's reign was ONE of the darkest periods in the history of the program. They missed the tournament for the first time SINCE 1965 whilst he was there. YES most think that Roy brought the program back to prominence, actually scratch that, he did bring the program back to prominence.
