why are you bringing up al jefferson like he has any relevance?
and yes i've seen curry play many times.
Just to show you that the weak conference arguement holds little value with me. Especially since I just showed below that Tyrese Rice, similar build and similar skill set is doing quite well in the ACC. Talented players will always find ways to succeed regardless of what situation they are in
Al Jefferson is making a name for himself in the NBA right now, there was a time when people said his bloated stats would do nothing for him because he played against inferior competition.
There were people saying Al Jefferson would be a better pro than Dwight Howard because he put up far better stats. I think it's very safe to say that Al Jefferson would not have put up his 40/30/10 or whatever at Oak Hill, or SW Christian (where Howard went). You're essentially arguing that Curry would consistently put up the same stats in the ACC because he is "good". Sure he's good, but he is OBVIOUSLY benefited by playing 23 games against SOCON opposition. He would not be as consistent in a better conference, and therefore he would not put up anywhere near the same stats.

al jefferson never played in a college conference.
Sigh* am I talking to a brick wall? I'll repeat this AGAIN. Talented players will find ways to succeed regardless of the situation they are placed in. Its convenient how you have ignored the Tyrese Rice point.
The other half of the coin to the "they face tougher competition" argument, is that they also have better teammates. Curry would NEVER be given free reign to jack up 10 threes every game in a major conference because he would be playing with more talented players and he would have to defer.
You want me to explain Tyrese Rice, well then be prepared for the answer. Rice is technically more skilled than Curry (so, he's very good), he is more experienced, and there is no one on his team that can do anything.

Thats why I adjusted his points from 25ppg to 18-20ppg in a better conference.

Technically more skilled? Really? You do happen to know that Curry's father played in the NBA right now. When you watch the kid play, you know he has been taught well about the game. I don't even like the guy that much, but I appreciate the way he plays. I am almost convinced you guys havent watched him play
How does his father being a former NBA player have any bearing on the younger Curry? Curry can't get to the line and wouldn't take 10 threes per game in a bigger conference. That's just the way it is.

Tutelage from his father on how to play the game sure helps. You don't think his father has taught him a thing or two about the game.
He doesn't NEED to get to the line, because his strong suit is his shooting. You are telling me any coach worth his money won't figure out how to run him off screens to get shots off. He has attempted 317 3 pointers to date
Whatever. I never said he sucks. I said Kansas and UCLA defenders have guys who can neutralize him. If you disagree with that I don't know what to tell you.
