Based on seeds right in my projection I gave him a pretty good beating,,,, but he did get the whole field right... although Villanova mysteriously showed up on his last four in in the last hour before the bracket was announced.
I did bet a friend in the office at 2-1 odds, that I would do better then Lunardi. (only $20 vs $40)
Of course we never defined better. I claim victory.

And Lunardi gets help from insiders on the committee every year.

There's a bunch of people that are really good at projecting the bracket. Lunardi does a pretty good job...maybe not quite as good as some that are out there but he was the one who started it all.

I took them out when Georgia won the SEC. Didn't make much sense to have 7 in from the SEC.
The team that got booted out was either Illinois St, Dayton, UMass or VCU. It wsa clear when Jim Nantz listed a bunch of teams, and asked the chair what do you tell the last teams out.... Nantz listed all the BCS Schools in contention, and the chair said your close.
I do feel a little bad for Illinois St. I don't think that they should have got in, but finishing the season at 13-5 in the Valley, including winning six straight before getting spanked by Drake in the finals has to be tough for them to swallow.
