2009 Bracketology

ESPN: Joe Lunardi

Updated April 14, yet several odd placements. Arizona a 2 seed, even without Bayless and Budinger? Memphis a 3 seed, even without CDR and Rose? Florida as a 3 seed, even without Speights? And last, but not least - Duke a 1 seed? Still no big man. Enough said.

Re: 2009 Bracketology

ND won't be a 2 seed, mark that one down. Gene Cross was a much bigger loss than most think it will be.

Re: 2009 Bracketology

Seven seed seems reasonable for SU - I'm predicting somewhere between a 5 and 8 seed next year.

Re: 2009 Bracketology

This has me tempted to do one now, but I think I'll hold off until October. It's still awfully early to be predicting next year's field when not everyone has declared for the draft, and since most of the guys that have declared, haven't singed an agent.

Marquette as a 7 seems pretty harsh.

Re: 2009 Bracketology

Tennessee as a 9 seed? Hmmm... Not sure I agree with that. He has UK playing in Minneapolis, how appropriate...

9 Big East teams...not happening

Arizona State will make it next year...they should have made it this year

I think they proved that they certainly weren't one of the best 34 at-large worthy teams during the NIT.

Re: 2009 Bracketology

I would hope someone saves this pre-pre-pre season bracketology, because it's completely and utterly subject to change. There is absolutely no way that anyone can honestly take this seriously at this time. It's simply meant to keep people talking, that's all.

Is that basically what every bracketology is up until selection Sunday at about 6pm?
