Re: Bubble Games Week of February 8th

VCU with a devastating OT loss to George Mason last night really puts a damper on their at-large hopes.

Richmond with a huge road victory over Rhode Island will probably propel them into my next bracket.

UTEP improves to 8-1 in CUSA play after downing SMU.

UConn hangs tough but eventually falls on the road to Syracuse.

Also notable was Dayton's 28 point dismantling of Charlotte, a serious setback for the 49ers.

Minnesota pretty much puts an end to their at-large hopes with a disappointing home loss to Michigan.

Washington with a road loss to Cal which was a chance for them to pick up their first victory away from home.

Also notable was Mississippi St.'s comfortable victory over Ole Miss.

Re: Bubble Games Week of February 8th

Washington is ridiculous. They have always been way too guard oriented. They got away with it when they had players like Roy, Conroy and Robinson. Now that he has midgets like Thomas and Overton running the show they are being exploited. This isn't a tournament team. They still haven't even won outside of Seattle.

Romar being a pansy with scheduling doesn't help their tourney chances either.

Re: Bubble Games Week of February 8th

I still think they have a chance for an at-large, especially if Cal wins the conference tourney because I don't see the committee making it a one bid league. Washington will be favored in their final six games so their schedule is favorable for them to get to 11-7 in conference.

Re: Bubble Games Week of February 8th

UConn loses both of their games this week putting them at 4-8 in conference. Stick a fork in them.
