As everyone knows, I abhor the Jeff McInnis signing*, and I've predicted that he won't be on the playoff roster. So I'm dubbing this the McInnis Death Watch Thread.

I'm predicting that at some point this season that the team will tire of McInnis and Thorn will cut him.

* to put it in perspective, I would have rather seen Thorn sign Swift.

He will be on it, unless we get a better back up PG. He has to cut Kidd's minnutes in the playoffs for Kidd to be more affective. When he comes to the Nets I have a feeling his attitude will change because he knows he isnt a starter here for the simple fact we have Jason aka. the BEST PG in the NBA.

thats harsh, Mcinnis knows his place on this team, behind kidd. He knew that when he signed with us, and he will play hard to get a large contract next summer with a different team when he can opt out of his contract with the nets. Give jmac a chance, it tooo early to see how he will conduct himself. Jkidd is the best floor general and locker room presence.

Unless Zoran outperforms, McInnis will still be here. Im so confident that if hes not i will give you all my ucash points.

Of course McInnis will be on the playoff roster (if we make the playoffs). He will be a valuable addition to our team. I don't anticipate any problems. I actually agree with him about LeBron shooting too much towards the end of last year. They should've ran the offense through Zydrunas more, but LeBron fired away a lot of shots. I actually think that's why they collapsed.

McInnis was playing for a contract last season and had a starting role on a team that was heading for the playoffs until he pulled a "McInnis"

2 different head coaches put him on the bench last season and if the Cavs made the playoffs, at least 2 players were willing to go to the owner and ask that McInnis not be allowed on the playoff roster.
