Howard is KG, Okafor is injury-prone. he has a back problem.

thats what I thought, but then I read that Okafor's back problems originated from a slight fracture. Once its healed completely which it should this offseason, it should not pose as a problem in the future.
I'm not sure which one I would rather pick though. Howard does seem a bit like a poor man's KG, but his potential could allow him to be just as good or better. While Okafor reminds me of Alonzo Mourning, both are undersized centers. I think he has amazing potential too. If he develops a better outside game, and improves his inside scoring and footwork, he could end up similar to Hakeem Olajuwon.
Howard's potential is amazing, but I dont really think that it matters because whoever Orlando takes with the first pick, Charlotte will just take with the second.

I would take Howard because this team isn't going to make the playoffs next year and they have the time to develop the kid.

Okafor's back issues were said to be an "injury", not a "problem" ... meaning once it healed, it is done.

i think the magic will take okafor, leaving the cats with no choice than to take howard, which is fine.... because after next years draft he could possibly be teamed with greg oden to form an awesome frontcourt for years to come

Howard is KG? How can that be? KG just led the Wolves pass the first round, and now he is back in the draft?
Oh wait. You are saying Howard is as good as KG. But how can that be? How do you know? Howard has yet to play one NBA game. Dominating a bunch of HSers is one thing, dominating the NBA is another.
You must mean Howard is going to be as good as KG in time. How do you know that? Must be the crystal ball you have. Can I borrow it sometime? It would be rather handy to have.

Greg Oden is going to be in the 2006 draft(but still, they'd probably have a great shot at him).

I go with Okafor. He's a strong defender.
