Offseason? Correct me
Hey, I'm not sure how much capspace you guys have but this was an idea that popped into my head
Why don't you try to sign Samuel Dalembert?
And try to draft Chris Paul
Do you have enough capspace?
C: Samuel Dalembert/Primoz Brezec
PF: Emeka Okafor/Theron Smith
SF: Gerald Wallace/Jason Kapono
SG: Keith Bogans/Kareem Rush
PG: Brevin Knight/Chris Paul
Thats a fairly nice core which definately could make the playoffs, add a guy who could get 20ppg if he got enough PT (like Bogans, Rush & Wallace)

Its a good idea, but I just don't see us trying to go after Dalembert, He doesn't seem mentally the kind of guy who would fit in with this team. As for Paul, I agree he should be our pick this year. We really have to wait until FA comes around, and don't rule out Joe Johnson coming our way from the Suns.

I think its pointless to spend big money on FAs now. Should wait until you have a better base to build on, and use FA to add to that. I would probably wait until after next year, when you have an idea for the kind of player your next first round pick will be.

Chris Paul is defenitly yalls best draft choice at this time. Hes local and is going to be a great PG in the league. He can really run a team and once he learns the hang of the NBA youd have a two great franchise players that are intelligent and good citizens and shouldnt give you any problems.

Dalembert and Okafor together would make one hell of a block bonanza though.

One on one, even one on two, when the guy they call the Answer is on a one-way trip to the basket, you better just foul him. People can hate all day about the number of shot attempts. But, damn, give him props for even getting them up. He's small enough to have every shot contested. That 39% shooting sounds terrible to the regular reader, but have you seen these NBA players lately?"

Yeah, but don't you have Knight, who from stats looks like a bad shooter but the best passer in the game?

I would hope the Bobcats think about going after a PG before they try to get another big man.
