Bogut isnt available, so we draft Hakim Warrick -- don't get me wrong, he's a great player, but not for our system
We pick the wrong type of player at #17, like the Cavs picked Jackson. We need a player who will slowly get better and better, not be like Jackson
Don't manage to sign anyone, or ludicrosly overpay someone we don't need, leaving us salary whipped for a while

Well, if they continue the pace they're on and finish with the 2nd worst record, the lowest pick they could receive would be the 5th overall. If that happened, they would be able to draft a better talent than Warrick. Assuming they will all be in the draft:

I think the absolute worst case scenario (should some of those players not declare) for the draft is that the Bobcats end up starting Ray Felton or Deron Williams next year.
