okafor is what every team needs, rebounding, shot blocking, and defense, with a much improved offensive game around the basket.

I expect his numbers on paper to improve, and of course he will be even better his second year.

The bobcats made an excellent selection. And Im not worried at all the Bickerstaff will become infatuated with free agents. He needs to get as many picks as he can and make smart choices.

Guys like Marvin Williams Jr ( who unless atlanta picks first, I believe will be off the board with the first pick) would be great

Danny Granger is the perfect fit for the team along with paul, felton, or williams

I don't think he'll be a superstar, but players like him help teams a lot. I could definately see 18-20/12/3 in the future, but no superstar numbers.

maybe we should redefine superstar then, this league needs guys that do exactly that. as well as has the size to be a good interior defender

I think he's pretty close to being at as good as he's going to get. A great defender/rebounder/role player. He's not the person to build around.

He's going to be a very good rebounder & post defender, although if the Bobcats can find a guy that can score 25 ppg, his ppg will likely go down

imo, he'll be something like Elton Brand. He can put some numbers make some All Star teams, but fall short of being in that elite. Of course he could absolutely explode next year you never know. Just because you went to college doesn't mean that you have no upside.

His scoring is going to become a lot better. A lot of people who haven't seen the Bobcats, and Okafors offensive game is very raw right now. Really, about 60-70% of his points come from jumpers. If he develops some consistent go to post moves, he'll average 20 ppg on a good percentage easily.
