Is Raymond Felton...
Worth the #5 pick here? I'm not entirely sure he is, and all the mocks seem to have him going at 5. Personally, I'm not a HUGE fan of Deron Williams (really because outside of the tournament and few season games, I never saw him play), but Felton... I'm unsure about. I still feel Chris Paul is the best point guard, and has the most potential of all the point guards. Even so... if the draft goes as projected where Portland takes Deron, NO takes Paul, then I think Gerald Green might be a better choice than Felton. A lot of people really like Ray, but.. I just never saw it.

Re: Is Raymond Felton...
Well, he definitely improved his shooting and scoring. All the PG's are pretty clutch. Felton might be the best combo of ball-hawking and speedy defense. and probably the #2 court vision/passer.
He can score, but probably more as the #3 and Okafor as the #2. Paul has #1 potential, he can really motor to the hoop and draw fouls, plus rain J's.

Re: Is Raymond Felton...
I really would like Chris Paul, because if his ability to see the floor, read defenses, pass and score. I see him as a player who could score about 17-20 ppg if needed as well as 6-8 apg. There are just a few things that scare me about Felton, in his tendency to dominate the ball on offense to make certain passes and his tendency to play out of control. Second, Felton is a decent shooter, but only off the pass, I never saw him as a guy who could take a defender, pull up and rain a J, and without a good 2nd ball handler or passer on the team, I'm skeptical as to how well his scoring game will fare in the NBA.

Re: Is Raymond Felton...
Felton will fall to 13 in my eyes, just looking at most mocks right now. I really see him as a stretch to be the 5th pick, I would much rather take Jack at 13 then Felton at 5 if I had to get a PG. I think Green will be the pick at 5 and Felton at 13 but in a perfect world, I would say Paul at 5 and May at 13 if they both drop.

Re: Is Raymond Felton...
I don't think Felton falls out of the top 10.. Seems like Atlanta, Utah, New Orleans and Charlotte could use PGs, and with Felton playing college ball at Chapel Hill could be a logical choice there. At 13 you could grab one of the many solid wings that will surely be available, but the point guard drop off after the top 3 is pretty severe sans Jack but he looks like a late first rounder now.
