Felton coming alive.

It's good to see him becoming a good PG after the slow start. So how far do you think he'll go? how far do you think he can lead the team? I think he can be an All-Star and when we get a little more talent at least take us to the playoffs. But I'm glad to see he's doing good. Too bad we couldn't of drafted someone better than May. That hurts to say being a lifetime UNC fan, but it's true.

I don't see him becoming Chris Paul or even Deron Williams, but he's certainly talented and will only improve over the next couple of years. He has the potential to take his team to the Playoffs, no sweat, though if he has the court vision to be great I don't know.

Aw, May's been hurt most of this year. Give him a break; he could still be something.

Re: Felton coming alive.

Felton is already better than Deron Williams, and the gap will only get larger from now on.

May was playing pretty well when he was healthy, but I don't know if he will be the same after his injury. I wish they had drafted Granger.

I don't buy that. Look at their respective teams' records and the playing time each has had.

As cursed as this team's been, drafting Granger wouldn't have made any difference. He'd've gotten hurt.
Charlotte's conditioning coaches need to step it up a few notches.

Team success is awful reasoning. Utah has some decent players on their roster and a future hall of fame coach. The Bobcats are a second year expansion team which has suffered big injuries to its frontcourt. To compare the teams would just be silly. Felton was last months rookie of the month for the east. He's been playing extremely well lately. Just watching them, Felton has a much bigger impact on the game. Deron should be a nice role player down the line, but Chris Paul is clearly the best PG in the draft, Felton is clearly the 2nd best PG, and Deron is the 3rd. It's not worth debating.

I can't speak for other Jazz fans, but I'm not looking to Deron Williams as a replacement for Stockton. "Nice role player down the line" describes him perfectly. (Personally, I'm high on CJ Miles as our point guard for the future.)

However, Chris Paul is the best, no doubt, but I'd still go with Deron over Felton right now. Probably not five years from now; Felton has a higher upside for the future, IMO; he's more consistent. But right now, I'd still take Deron first.
