The Bobcats have a firm philosophy about effort and Kareem Rush evidently did not meet up to their expectations from him.

I really don't know that he was not playing hard or if he just isn't that good...Either way it's not that big a deal beyond the message that it sends to other players.

He was a talented player that was complacent and that's being kind. It would of been interesting to see what he could of become with a decent work ethic and some motivation.

Coach Bickerstafff didn't see the effort or caring from Rush that he insists upon. Simple solution was to release Rush. If Kobe gets his way the Lakers will pick him back up this summer. Nice answer, everybody wins.
