Re: Game 4: Charlotte Bobcats vs. Boston Celtics (11/8/06)
I think we should win this one if we could play well, but so far we've only done that once in three tries. The C's just haven't been any good so far and in theory we have more talent than they do.Unfortunately we'll probably have some period in the second half where we do everything possible to lose the game with turnovers.

Re: Game 4: Charlotte Bobcats vs. Boston Celtics (11/8/06)
Al Jefferson had an emergency appendectomy today and he's going to be out at least a couple of weeks so the C's will be shorthanded on the frontline tonight.

Jefferson out
By Shira Springer, Globe Staff
Celtics forward Al Jefferson underwent an emergency appendectomy this afternoon, according to Celtics executive director of basketball operations Danny Ainge.
Jefferson experienced severe stomach pain overnight and attended this morning's shootaround at Health Point in Waltham, but upon arrival, trainer Ed Lacerte sent Jefferson immediately to a hospital.
Jefferson, 21, was taken to New England Baptist Hospital in Boston where the surgery was performed, said team spokesman Jeff Twiss.
"I don't think that it's a major setback," said Ainge. "It's a minor setback for Al. We feel like he'll 100 percent in two or three weeks. That's why we have a 15-man roster."

Why the hell do we have Gerald on Szczerbiak instead of Pierce. He's jsut going to kill Brevin or Felton off the post

Probably want to keep Gerald out of foul trouble until later in the game.
Doc was really hot over that, but it was such an obvious charge it's hard to see why

Gosh this is an ugly game.I don't know how two teams can possibly look this bad against each other.Morrison is getting absolutely schooled by their wings.

Re: Game 4: Charlotte Bobcats vs. Boston Celtics (11/8/06)
Would have been nice if they'd called that goaltending
C's 100 Cats 98 20 secs left
Wallace ties it up 10.5 seconds left.Be nice if the Celtics had one more TO left in them tonight

He certainly is but that hitch in his stroke scares me every time.
Another thing, what happened to May's mid-range jumper? That was his money shot in college but I think I've seen him miss 3 in a row.

Re: Game 4: Charlotte Bobcats vs. Boston Celtics (11/8/06)
Alan Anderson has to come back and play well.Morrison is a major liability if he's not scoring and the rest of the team isn't any good at playing zone.Without Felton our perimeter defense fell apart.

I only caught the end of the game. Why wasn't Felton playing?

Injury to his back or calf somethin like that his leg ran into Pierce's knee and he didn't return after that
