Game 37 Nuggets(22-13) at Cats(13-23) 7PM
Hopefully we can keep playing good ball, but it's hard to see how we can contend with the pace that Denver plays if Raymond isn't playing.Either way we're pretty challenged offensively and Denver scores a lot of points.

This will be a tough one for denver. Starting carter, iverson, and anthony means they have no answer for richardson or wallace.

Felton and McInnis will both play tonight....I guess that's good news and bad news.I am personally beginning to think that we'd be better off playing Gerald at the backup point. He turns the ball over too much and he doesn't distribute the ball great, but he's a professional basketball player who can accomplish things on an NBA basketball court. All McInnis does is stand around dribbling and making passes that the drunk guy in the third row could make.He can't beat anyone,he can't shoot and he can't create anything.Atop of that he can't guard anyone either...Yet somehow he's a major part of our rotation.

We haven't done a good job of getting back so far...Denver does a lot of cherrypicking and we aren't stopping them

Good quarter for us...Suddenly this team can score, but the Nuggets aren't exactly playing Tenacious D 34-25 at the end of the 1st

Looks like Gerald Wallace and Carmelo Anthony are definitely having a hell of a battle.
Melo - 8/11 shooting, 21 points, 2 rebounds, 1 block so far in the 2nd quarter.
Wallace - 7/11 shooting, 20 points, 4 rebounds, 4 assists, 2 blocks so far in the 2nd quarter.

Geesh great night for Emeka...Gerald has been out of this world, but he's hitting his FTs and the Nuggets are doing a terrible job on penetration....KMart gets a T,but he's lucky he didn't get a flagrant too

Richardson is finally hitting some shots. He sucked most of this game...Didn't score and Carmelo was lighting him up
Raymond has 15 assists....Isn't hitting his shots though

Wow...40 points for Gerald Wallace. Very impressive, especially when he also has 8 rebounds, 5 assists, 2 blocks and 2 steals to go along with it.

Good win for us....Damn why couldn't this team have started playing with this much intensity earlier. We've lost so many games to teams we could have beaten if we'd only played with the necessary enthusiasm...Instead we spent most of the season sleepwalking and making no effort to fix our problems.

G.Wallace is one of the most complete players in the NBA.
and he's been shooting really well from 3 this season.. his form looks improved, his wrist is more into his shot.. 4-8 from 3 tonight.. thats fire.
he's thrown up 8, 8, 6 & 5 three-pointer attempts over the past 4 respectively.. he's got confidence & he's murking teams all over the court.
