Johnson:Jordan has final decision on Vincent

http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=3324253
Of course my stated position would be that we could get rid of everyone mentioned in this article and be no worse off.I can't even figure out which one has done more to botch this...If Jordan was the one making that draft picks then he's the guy who should decide to go elsewhere.

I can't even help him this year...I have no clue who we should take this year. It's such a mess I just can't see the guy who can save us.It's too bad they couldn't listen to me before.
Quote:
CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Charlotte Bobcats owner Bob Johnson believes first-year coach Sam Vincent is the right man for the job.
But Johnson said Tuesday the final decision on whether Vincent will return next season rests with part-owner and basketball operations chief Michael Jordan.
The Bobcats are 28-46 and are all but certain to miss the playoffs in Vincent's first season as an NBA head coach.
Johnson said he believes Vincent has overcome early growing pains to do a "credible job."
But Jordan has the final say on all basketball decisions, and Johnson said the former Chicago Bulls great will decide Vincent's future. Jordan rarely grants interviews, and a team spokesman said he was not immediately available for comment.

I guess the rumor is that Jordan doesn't want to fire Vincent, but he might if Larry Brown chose to take the job.I guess that would be seen as a facesaving maneuver.Only thing this story really talks about was the travel debacle in Milwaukee during those huge winter storms.

Biggest problem I have with Vincent revolves around Raymond and McMinus.I realize that we lack personell, but we never had a problem at the SG position...We had Richardson and he could play 40 minutes a night so far as I'm concerned.Anyone who thought for a second that McInnis deserved to play one minute at the point INSTEAD of Raymond is automatically disqualified as a coach IMO.I'm not happy with Raymond's development or his consistency, but for better or worse he is the only decent point guard on our roster and the fate of this team is tied completely to his development. If Raymond could become a top tier point guard we have a decent chance at being competitive,if he doesn't we're completely ****ed.You have to live with that until the moment you are forced to make a decision on him.

Secondly the guy apparently can not commit to a plan.Raymond is an effective PG when the team is running...Otherwise not so much. This team has looked very good when it was committed to running.Obviously we lacked the depth to run as well as we'd like, but the only chance this team ever had was to stay committed to running. We have a really good rebounder who can start the break,we have a couple of guys who can really finish in transition...RIchardson can get open threes on the secondary break if the primary break fails...We have Raymond who's good at running the break.Aside from that we never had anything going for us....Why in hell did we put McInnis in at the point and start playing snailball.
