NFL fines Newton get 31k, Godfrey 21K & Hardy 25K
Only one that surprises me is the Godfrey fine. When I saw that play I thought it was a clean hit and that it shouldn't have been flagged to begin with. We knew Cam was gonna pay and it's not like he can't afford it.

The NFL fined Newton a total of $31,000 for his actions in Sunday’s 17-6 win against Oakland. In addition to Newton’s previously reported $21,000 fine for abusive conduct toward referee Jerome Boger, the league docked Newton another $10,000 for kicking Raiders nose tackle Tommy Kelly in the second quarter.

Defensive end Greg Hardy was fined $25,000 for his hit that knocked Raiders quarterback Carson Palmer out of the game and drew a roughing the passer penalty. The league ruled Hardy struck Palmer in the back with his helmet.
