Peja Drobnjak available
http://www.realgm.com/src_wiretap_ar...n_on_drobnjak/
He's a full sized center with a very good shooting touch. He could be a nice role player for us. Third center of the bench? Could he mean the end of the Jared Reiner experience???

As the summer goes further along, I feel better and better about the fact that we could very well be a much deeper club next season. Depth was our strength to start with. We outscored everyone elses bench on most nights and sometimes a lot.
As for Peja Drobnjak we could do worse.

Yeah, Paxson will just keep his first line of bussiness first which is resigning Curry, Chandler, and Duhon, and after that there are tons of options.
Jannero Pargo
Jay Williams
Eddie Basden
Eddie Robinson
Donyell Marshall
Toni Kukoc
Drake Diener
Randolph Morris
Mario Austin
Peja Drobjnak
Stromile Swift (can come cheap becauise of his irregular heart beat)
Travis Diener (I think he could easily be made available by offering a future 2nd. He is a Kirk Hinrich lite.)
If Paxson can bring in Kukoc, Basden, Austin I would be very pleased with this offseason.

That's the kinda hazy part, it hasn't been confirmed.
He just has to pay back any money he got from going to camps or whatever, and send a letter to UK and they have to accept him back.

Re: Peja Drobnjak available
I don't think you would like Drobnjak, he's just a highly flawed player.
His defense is terrible, he can't block shots and his foot speed is slow. So he's bad on man defense, on the pick and roll defense and offers no weakside help defense.
He's probably the only center in the league who's worse at rebounding than Eddy Curry. The Sonics were repeatedly owned on the glass with Drob in the game two years ago, and the Hawks were last season. Look at the 82games numbers, he grabs 5% of available offensive boards, and 12% of defensive boards.
He does have a good set jump shot for a center. It comes in handy when you play against Shaq, as the diesel never steps out on pick and rolls. Other than that and his website, I can't think of a reason why anyone would want Drob.

Theo Ratliff is also a worse rebounder than Curry.

I wouldn't be opposed to Drobnjak since he has the rare ability to shoot the ball for a big man. But the question to ask is whether we'd rather have a no defense, no rebounding, good shooting center as our 3rd stringer...or would we want a decent defender, decent rebounder, poor shooting/scoring center, ala Reiner. Pick your poison...neither one is much of a difference maker, they just provide different specialties.
