You would think that the Lakers would want Dixon to play PG - defends well and shoots open 3's. Perfect for the triangle.

Dixon was a good college defender and can grab alot of steals...but I don't know, he looked pretty awful against the Bulls in the playoffs. Hinrich was absolutely abusing him most of the time.

Yeah, I'd pretty much say he was the reason the Wizards lost the series.

It would be sweet if Jay was added to our roster and he is able to contribute. I was so pumped when we drafted him.
Then I was crushed when he got injured.

Oh Mike, let's not be silly now. We all know who won that series. And it wouldn't have happened without the significant contributions of a certain blue-collar big man who formerly graced Chicago with his presence.

He looks a little like Marcus Fizer in that pic.
Still, Juan's 35 point shelling of us in game 5 was pretty crucial. I'd say it's quite a bit more than Pargo did for us.

For the record, I would be perfectly content nabbing Juan Dixon instead of Pargo. My previous comment was only directed toward Dixon's defense (which probably isn't any worse than Pargo's either). I distinctly remember Eddie Jordan having to remove him at several points because he was getting taken to the hole so much. That's not to say he doesn't have value.

I could be wrong, but I remember Dixon doing a pretty good job defensively on Ben Gordon. I know for sure that Eddie Jordan was bringing Dixon into the game specifically to guard Gordon for the last four games. We all know how Gordon did in those games.
I don't think you can compare Pargo's defensive inadequacy to Dixon at all. IMO of course.

That had less to do with dixon, and more to do with the team strategy in containing him.

I guess, but Gordon was playing well in the first few games (1-3) before Dixon was assigned to him full-time. This was definitely the turning point.
I know it wasn't all Dixon, but he was a big part of their "strategy" to contain Gordon.
