Looks like the Sloan thread has run its course, but that was expected. We're on to the second number retired by the Bulls, #10 - Bob Love.
Bob Love's #10 was retired on January 14, 1994.
Bob Love joined the Bulls in 1968, after being acquired from the Milwaukee Bucks. He would play for the Bulls in seven full seasons, and parts of two others. In seven straight seasons, he lead the Bulls in scoring. Love is also third amongst Bulls scorers all-time.
Love was a three-time All-Star and was named to the All-NBA Second Team twice, as well as the All-Defensive second team three times. Love was on the 1974-1975 Bulls team that won the division and went on to lose in the Western Conference Finals in seven games.
Love averaged 21.3 points per game and 6.8 rebounds per game in 592 games with the Bulls. His best season statistically was his second full season with the Bulls, 1970-1971, where he averaged 25.2 points and 8.5 rebounds.
Love currently serves as the Bulls Director of Community Affairs.
