If you draft Beasley, would you trade Tyrus for M Conley?
Would you do this trade? Would we need to sweeten the deal for Memphis? I believe Conley is a upgrade over Kirk and Beasley can give us what we need, points. Memphis has too many young guards and could use Tyrus.

I wouldn't even consider that. Conley can't shoot, and we have Kirk already. Tyrus > Conley.

What are you throwing in in addition to Conley? Next year's first?
I would consider it. What about Gay + Conley for re-signed Deng and Tyrus? I would consider it.

Conley is going to be a really good distributing point guard... he's an elite athlete, and a smart player.

Conley is a PG, supposed to shoot better than he does. Tyrus is a defensive player, which Conley certainly is NOT. Get a clue.

Tyrus was a number 2 pick essentially. We can't give him away for Conley (don't get me wrong, he's good, but not that good.
Trading away Tyrus for a medium talent Pg when we could have Rose, would basically be giving up at this point.

I don't get the fascination with Tyrus. The one thing he did do last year that was a good sign, was show an improved as a jump shooter. But he seemed to have difficulty dunking last year, and he regressed as a shotblocker...and not only that, the guy was always in the wrong spot on defense.
He had a pretty good rookie season, especially for being 19. The guy is a pass first point guard. He'd be a great pick up imo.
