Re: If the Bulls were to...
I would be pissed as hell. Wade isn't worth the #8, let alone #1. Then to make matters worse and trade Kirk, leaving us with no PG? Only consolation at all in that scenario is if we drafted Joe Alexander at #8 and traded Deng and Noah for a real center.

Don't worry we all know that. DBB has an irrational hatred of Wade. Like my irrational hatred of Brett Favre. To this day, I'd prefer Grossman to Favre. Dude won 1 Super Bowl and only holds all those records because he was hopped up on painkillers and started every game. Loser.

I wouldnt want the Bulls to give up the number 1 pick for Wade. But, comeon now the number 8 pick. Lmao. Also I see his say no to Kobe thing. I assume he didnt want the Bulls to trade for Kobe in October? I think it was pretty clear this year that Kobe was worth more than 1 player if not all players in the Bulls core plus prospects.

Re: If the Bulls were to...
Wade injured is worse than any player at #8. He's injured half the time, and not playing well due to being "hurt" the other half. Keep in mind here the stars in the league today that were taken outside of the top of the draft. Josh Smith #17, Al Jefferson #15, Kobe Bryant #13, Amare Stoudemire #9, Kevin Garnett #5, etc etc. Granted those were all high schoolers, but fact remains that star players go later. I'd take every single player I listed, other than Byrant (*****) and Garnett (too old) over Wade any day. Then you get to Arenas, who was a 2nd rounder (#31). Tony Parker #28 and Manu Ginobili #57. The list goes on and on.
I'd definitely take Joe Alexander and Probably Westbrook, Bayless, Love, etc etc, if they last that long, rather than Wade.
Sorry guys, for not being a Chicago homer like most of you are. I see Wade as a good player that is always injured. Injured = useless. If he were healthy, I'd be open to trading for him, but he never is, and thus I don't want him if we have to give up much of anything.

I do not live in Chicago, nor have I ever. I don't care where Wade grew up or went to college. He's still better than anyone available at #8.

I wasn't singling you out if you took it that way. I'm just saying that it's blatantly obvious that most of the people on here have some ties to Chicago and are big time homers for the home-grown talent. And yes, I know Wade is talented. But how good is a guy that's always injured? He isn't. Miami would've kept Shaq and not tanked this year if Wade was able to stay healthy, and there's no way he'd even be talked about in trades if he was able to stay healthy. It's not like he's Kobe where he's a worthless POS that demands trades and can't get along with his teammates. He just can't stay healthy. Sorry, but I don't value a guy with his injury history at even 1/2 of what their value would be if they could stay healthy.

He's also the most over-rated player in the history of sports. He also holds the INT record, and I've seen a lot of 4 INT games against the Vikes throughout the years. I never thought he was all that great. Well, he was either really on and his WRs would take his bullet slant passes to the house, or he was really off and throwing INTs constantly. I probably would've taken him over Neil O'Suckell (Steelers are my team) but that's a close call. O'Suckell is my most hated player in the history of sports, even ahead of Kobe, Ewing, Ripp, Anthony Mason, John Starks, etc etc.
