ESPN 1000: Bulls and Heat in Deep Trade Talks
Waddle (or Silvy, whichever is which) said on ESPN 1000 that Chad Ford told him that 3 General Managers have told him that they think Wade to Bulls will probably get done.
Due to another board, they are talking about this on the radio in New York too.
They said they would talk about it more in a little while (taking to some guy about whether Bulls should go Rose or Beasley right now).

I heard it. They also said DeFalco is coming on to discuss the rumors shortly.
Ehh. Hard to believe, to say the least.

Re: ESPN 1000: Bulls and Heat in Deep Trade Talks
I hope this is BS.
There's only a short list of guys I'd trade this pick for, and Wade is not one of them. His injuries and shelf life are looking way too short for my liking.
LBJ, D12, CP3...give me those names and we'll talk.

Re: ESPN 1000: Bulls and Heat in Deep Trade Talks
They keep throwing out Luol Deng's name, but we can't trade Deng.
You'd have to imagine that Hinrich, Nocioni wouldn't be involved since Miami would be going into rebuild mode, and those two guys would interfere with their capspace.
If it's like the rumor that Bucher reported yesterday, it won't involve the #1 pick, so we would be left with a core of Hinrich, Wade, Gordon, Nocioni, Deng, and #1 Pick (probably Beasley if we trade for Wade). That wouldn't be too bad of a core imo.

Re: ESPN 1000: Bulls and Heat in Deep Trade Talks
Why on earth would Miami trade Wade for anyone on our team, save for the #1 pick?

Re: ESPN 1000: Bulls and Heat in Deep Trade Talks
But Wade can play basketball very well, Thomas can't.

Re: ESPN 1000: Bulls and Heat in Deep Trade Talks
Thomas will blow up with Rose at the point, whereas Wade's sissy butt will be on IR like always. I'll take Tyrus + Rose over Wade + Rose any day.

Re: ESPN 1000: Bulls and Heat in Deep Trade Talks
Alright, the Deng thing is completely separate from the Wade thing.
Defalco also has know ****ing idea what's going on.
3 GM's called Ford to find out what was going on with Wade to Chicago.

Re: ESPN 1000: Bulls and Heat in Deep Trade Talks
I wouldn't mind getting wade if it doesn't strip the whole roster down. I would offer Kirk, Hughes, Duhon & protected 1st round pick next year, gets rid of two contracts if it works.
