OT: Artest regrets not opting out
Quote:
Instead of electing to play out the final year of his contract with the Kings next season at $7.4 million, Ron Artest told ESPN.com on Tuesday that he wishes now he had opted for unrestricted free agency.
Artest also revealed via e-mail that he doesn't believe he'll be in Sacramento longterm, saying, "I don't see myself with [the] Kings beyond 2008-09.
"I think I made the biggest mistake by staying in my contract and I have to live with it," Artest said. "I had some misleading information [in making the] decision on not opting out. [But] I still thank G-d for all his blessings and being able to play basketball and help people."

Re: OT: Artest regrets not opting out
isn't this posted already in the general nba forum?

Im sure GP is glad to have all the stats and be considered a top 10 all time guard, but what does that mean to him without a ring?
here's an example:
You have a gorgeous girl that gives you all the oral sex and foreplay you want, but no actual sexual intercourse. Shoot, of course you get the glamour of being with a top notch girl, but you don't quite feel complete and satisfied. There's no shame "sealing the deal" with another girl who isn't as pretty, but heck.. at least you got to tap that booty.

Unless they secretly changed the rules on me again, it is fine to both link to and mention realgm on bbf. It used to not be the case.

You can mention it over there.
Just do it with caution.

I'm glad he posted it, I just read this forum. There's too many forums to read everything.

Ha Ben B. was actually cool with me. Dougthonus is a real cool guy too. Bulls6 aka Tommy Udo 6 is the bad guy
I like it over here much more, just wish we could have some more activity.
