Tier 1 -- Kobe, Wade Tier 2 -- Eric Gordon, Joe Johnson Tier 3 -- Kevin Martin, Iggy Then a whole bunch of pretty flawed options, e.g., Ray Allen (old), Ben Gordon (expensive, one-dimensional), Marcus Thorton (see Ben Gordon), Mayo, etc. |

Right. Also, I think the "We just need a SG!" meme was on some level more accurate pre-Rose. Once Rose was acquired, the need is really more general in that you want a 2nd star. That player could be at the 2, the 3, or the 4 (assuming the Bulls are intent on keeping Noah absent a deal for Howard). I see no reason why, if you believe the Bulls need more star power next to Rose, that it has to come from the 2 guard position. Upgrading Deng or Boozer and riding out Hamilton/Bellini/Hinrich for the year could be a fine approach. |

That's certainly true. We have our own example of that in Boozer. A very good player who we pay nearly the max, but isn't truly the star you need in that slot to make the team as strong a championship contender as you'd like to see. True elite players are scarce. That's why there are only two "superteams" if you believe in that concept. |

If a Bulls fan is saying Roy Hibbert is overpaid, then yes, so is Noah in comparison.
I think both contracts are fine though to clarify. Just saying.

The point is, Roy Hibbert isn't overpaid. You guys would be glad to have him at what he makes.

Re: Nate Robinson Will Sign - Confirmed by his Agent
I never said that Noah was not overpaid. In general big men are overpaid. Noah is in the class of Hibbert when it comes to being overpaid. Boozer is way overpaid. Unless you are lucked out with a Bynum, Howard, Bosh, or one of those guys who you can depend on to carry your team, you are likely overpaying.

If your avatar Tom Cruise in Tropic Thunder? Because if so then I forgive you for getting rid of the Kenny Powers one.
