Rose says he has patience now - bulls.com interview

Rose talked the Bulls inhouse writer (not Sam Smith) about his rehab. At the end he said this:

Quote:
“I’m almost there,” said Rose. “I’m staying patient. That’s the biggest thing with this rehab and it’s what has helped me the most. I haven’t always had patience in the past, but now I have it. I’m still working on it and I think it’s going to make me a better player and a better person.”

I wonder how having patience is going to change him as a player.

Don't see how he wouldn't have patience after all those ****ing injuries.

Just a guess, but maybe he will stop going full speed to the basket in an effort to get more fouls called or to limit a risk of a high speed collision.

We could all stand to learn a little patience.

There are better things to hope in than the Bulls, but its fun to try, anyway.
