Better....but I'd miss Ruben's energy and effort....but hey, I'd much rather keep Rasheed.
So-Schilly, you seem awfully big on Caron Butler...would you explain why?
I don't know much about the guy but see his name in many of your trades...much like Battier

Butler's just the rumor of the day.
That being said he is only a 2nd year player and was the frontrunner for ROTY last season for much of the year, but faded a little down the stretch. He will be a very solid SF for many years.
Battier on the other hand embodies what Portland is lacking, basketball smarts.

Who comes off the bench? Butler or Davis?
I like the idea, but I also like the way that Sheed is playing at SF this year. Can he be just as productive playing center if you start Butler at SF? If not, Portland would have to make at least one more deal.
However, I'm not sure if Chicago would make this deal. Why not go over to their board and give it a test run?

His 5.6 PPG, 2 RPG, and 1APG are considerably down from last season. Faded, you might say.

I think this is why the Heat are willing to offer him up to get rid of Jones and his contract.

No way I would give up a guy recovering from knee surgery for a guy recovering from knee surgery.
