draft morning thoughts
feeling pretty good about the last couple days, and the upcoming season in general. granted, so is most of cleveland (especially the bandwagon fans).
daily agenda for dj raz, gm of da cavs:
-- call jmac, tell him he's our man. let him know i expect him to lead us to the 2nd round or higher. let him know about draft plans.
-- call indiana, try to get harrington one last time. give them the pick and battie/brown.
-- sit back, watch the draft, and think about the solid depth chart of:
PG: jmac, ollie, wagner
SG: bron, wagner, sasha
SF: harrington, sasha, newble
PF: boozer, harrington, newble, reuben
CT: big z, diop, reuben
IF harrington is not gotten:
-- draft nelson if he's available, let him know he's gonna have to earn every minute behind jmac or sit. since this is unlikely, be a big story (again) and take telfair at 10. tell lebron he got his pick and it better pay-off. draw up the chart like this:
PG: jmac, telfair, ollie
SG: bron, wagner, kedrick, telfair
SF: sasha, newble, bron
PF: boozer, battie, newble, reuben
CT: big z, diop, battie, reuben
-- meet some cavs girls for a drink.
