Pretty harsh Sporting News article
http://msn.foxsports.com/story/2566204
Basically, Sean Deveney says Carlos Boozer and his agent look like lying scumbags, and the Cavs' management look like bumbling, naive fools. Meanwhile, the Jazz are the cat that ate the canary.
I think there will be fallout from this disaster that we can't even anticipate yet. I hope they can pull something together that gives people a reason to look forward to next season. Although I will anyway, because I believe in LeBron & Luke.

I still am relatively clueless as to how a man can be looked so down upon for making the most logical decision. He's going to a better team (in my opinion) for an extra $28 million. It's not like he went to Atlanta for an extra half million a season. I know the honor of a person's word shouldn't be broken and all that, but I'd consider this to be an extreme circumstance. I admit to being more of a bottom line type of guy than an honor and virtue one, so maybe that's why my opinion is shifted in that direction.
As for the article, it's a bit dramatic. "And fans … well, I would not blame fans for being a little less enthusiastic about the NBA next year because of this." Come on, that's a little out there in my opinion. Honestly, I think this whole thing blows over, and no one but Cavs fans even really remember it past this next season.

The reason people are upset is because the only reason the Cavs let him out of his contract in the first place was that it was understood that he was going to resign. It is different than if he were just due to become an FA and said he wanted to stay, and then went somewhere else. They let him out of his contract only because his agent agreed he would resign.
So either this is backstabbing on one side, horrendous mismanagement on the other, or both. But it's not as simple as you make it out to be. It's not just a free agent leaving.

I guess the question is: how much is your word worth? You'd be surprised how often you will get to screw someone. However if someone is doing you a favor, you really shouldn't. I'm not saying that alot of people wouldn't have taken the money, I'm saying that if you did you should be considered a lying scumbag.
