Trades should continue
Cavs should trade, trade, trade
1. trade Z - he will ask for max next summer.
2. trade Wagner - with Snow, he doesn't have much PT.
3. Pack the rest of benches for three role players.

Trading either of these guys without saying who we should/could get for them really does no good.
Z is very unlikely to be traded, he is a favorite of the owner and still is a very serviceable center.

I expect that Wagner will be traded soon. Probably in a package with a signed Eric Williams.

Wags yes I could see him being traded.
no way does Z get traded and I don't think he should either.
I don't expect to see anymore impact players coming but more good role players like Battie and Williams.

Why would u trade Z, yes he has a huge contract, but it is up at the end of the year and he is 1 player u can't simply replace. There aren't many 7'3 centres out there with the skill he has and when he performs well we win, simple as that.
Wagner im unsure of, give the kid a chance, he has been unlucky with injuries and he certainly does not seem to be a chump like some ppl think. Give wagner a full healthy season as a backup 1/2 and im sure he will perform.
With the recent trades im really happy with the cavs off season recovery from the boozer loss, we have a decent team now with lots of young players, who know's how much some of these kids are going to improve now until the end of the season.

I'd be really hard pressed to trade Ilgauskas at this point. I'd make an all out effort to resign him. Actually, I'd almost rather keep him, because of the inside presence he brings offensively...and he's gotten better on defense. And he's been able to stay healthy the past couple years.
I'd agree with trading Wagner...and I think the Cavs need a defensive minded veteran PF/C backup...but otherwise, barring unforseen trades, I think the Cavs might be close to done.

he is replacable..but a hard player to replace indeed. I think we should trade him..we might as well get something for him now rather then to let him become a free agent where we dont have a sure shot at signing him bc he'll be asking for alot of money.

Cleveland's goal is to beat detroit so you have to think about how do you beat them if you just gave up your biggest advantage the 7 foot 3 center? LBJ is a great player but he does need a solid center to take some of the heat off him.

Z's agent said that he was expecting the max but overall who knows how much he'll get. With the market as crazy as it was for mid level talent this summer the max may not be out of the question. Personally I put him in the 8-9 million/yr category and that might even be a tad high.
