Cavs 4-1 in the preseason
Bron with 21pts 6assists, great game from McGinnis as usual.
Silas played a scrub lineup in the 4th qtr against the celtic starters ( - Pierce) and they still won.
I think he had Snow, Pavlovic, Newble, Traylor, Varejao in and Varejao and Traylor were pounding the Celts inside. This is a good win since you knew the Celtics didn't want to drop 4 straight games and our bench outplayed their starters.
They better win the rematch against them on Monday since I will be at that game!

Yeah that might be the first game Lebron has never had a rebound. He played like crap in the first half, think he had like 2pts.
He turned it on in the 3rd qtr though.

I know he didn't have any fieldgoals until about half way through the 3rd quarter. This was the type of game that the Cavs lost last year. They really didn't have alot of energy to start the 3rd quarter. They let Boston go on a 12-0 run to begin the 2nd half.

From watching the game, it seems like Gooden controls the paint even more than Boozer. Either that or the teammates are showing Gooden more faith. In the past, James would crash the boards harder but it seems like the team is content now to let Gooden and Varejao get the boards. Let's hope once the season starts, that habit dies down.
But for what it's worth, even when James scores a lot, his points are often sleepy. He scores them in the flow of the game like a Jason Kidd or Grant Hill. It isn't until the game is over that you are aware of his point total.

James still has that tendency to drift, or let the game come to him so to speak.
It's an impressive trait for a young player, but I think he needs to be more aggressive and assert himself sometimes on offense.
Silas should work with him in the post, that would be a major addition to his game and could get us easy buckets with his size and strength.

I think he drifted on purpose for the first half. The third quarter was all his and he bust they ***. I could see in the first half that Tony Allen was gaining confidence thinking he was actually locking Lebron up. All that changed in the third. I could've sworn I saw Lebron pull down at the very least one rebound. I have the game on tape and will watch it again to confirm.
