Cavs Offered Wagner For Skita
"According to reports out of Denver, the Cavaliers recently offered Dajuan Wagner to the Nuggets for forward Nikoloz Tskitishvili but were rebuffed. Wagner, the No. 6 pick in the 2002 draft, and ``Skita,'' as he's known, the No. 5 pick, have both underachieved thus far. Neither had their options picked up for next season. Wagner says he's ready to come back from his ankle injury but hasn't been activated yet."

Guess this shows Wags is not a part of the future plans in Cleveland, but the declining of his option next year should have done that.

Skita would have been a good pickup.

Since Wagner's name is usually brought up in articles in unflattering ways, it would be hard to turn around and say "Oh by the way, this player we always talk bad about, you want him?" Nobody would go for that. I'm shocked the Cavs even asked and inquired about this. There was no way it was going to happen.
Juanny is just like Luke Jackson now. Juanny is on the IR for an injury he has recovered from and Jackson is on the IR for a made up injury. That's just the business.

Not a bad shot. Didn't think Denver would go for it but they need a guard desperately with Lenard going down. Not that the Cavs have had great outside shooting but Denver has been atrocious. It sounds like Wagner is gone at the end of the season no matter how well he plays. Jackson might sit for awhile on the IR while the showcase Wagner for a trade

We need to build up Wagner's trade value, if we dump him now we won't get anything for him.

He very well might ... but if he starts slowing down the play, hogging the ball, passing poorly, and playing no defense... he'll get as many minutes as Luke... real fast.
Silas wants to win this year. He wants to make the playoffs without burning out LeBron... and if Wagner impedes the flow in any way.... take a seat "Pete". He'll get his opportunity, but just like Z last year, and Gooden at times this year, Silas wants production HIS way or you'll be sitting on the pines... and Wagner better realize it cuz play time is over. Its work time. This will probably be Wagner's last chance with the Cavs. If'n things don't work out.... he's outta here.

There's no way you can build up Wagner, he's pretty much a bust.

I'd do that move... It would make sense for both teams

Not good at all. I'm sorry but Skita is terrible. He's too scared to amount to much. Wagner on the other hand was at one time the only real scoring threat for the Cavs. He played some pretty good basketball at times before his injuries. Skita can't produce and thus should stay where he's at.

Skita just needs somewhere he can play, no one can produce from the bench, and that's where he's been.
He's basically a 7'0 SG and he's only 20 years old, he is going to be another version of Dirk.
