The Cavs might win the central
If the suspensions are long enough I think the Cavs might have a chance to win the central division. I thought they had a small chance now I think they have a big chance to win it.

Not a stretch, they are probably the 4th or 5th best team in the east anyway.

That would take some awfully long suspensions

Who knows? All 4 players could get suspended for the rest of the season, depending on what they find on the tapes.

This could very well ruin the Pacers' season, but I think the Pistons will come out of this okay.

I had the Cavs as the 4th best team in the East going into the year anyway, but for the second straight season LeBron James has exceeded my expectations. If the suspensions are long enough(I don't think they'll be season long or even close) the Cavs could come out the winners in the Central.

The East really sucks without Artest, JO and S-Jax on the Pacers and losing Wallace is huge as well. Now if the suspensions are long, its basically Miami, Cleveland and Milwaukee. The Heat are the only team that could hold their own against a Dallas, San Antonio or Minnesota (and would probably lose as well). The other two would get raped. Anyway, this was supposed to be the Pacer's year to make the title run and if JO, Artest and Stephen Jackson are out for the year, hopefully Miller doesn't retire before they can make another.

Indiana without O'Neal, Stephen Jackson, and Ron Artest is marginally better than the Cavs
Detroit without Wallace is better than the Cavs
Milwaukee is better than the Cavs also
the Cavs are a one-man team Lebron will eventually tire out

I don't think that Ben Wallace will be out all that long for suspension. The real problem here is going into the stands. That is where the big suspensions will come from. That being said, Detroit is not very good when Ben is out. If you saw them play recently during his injury you'd know that he is the heart of that team.

Certainly won't happen. Wallace's suspension should be completely un-related to the melee that happened afterward. He'll get 3-5 games for the shove probably.

You take any team in the NBA, remove its three best players, and the Cavs will be better than that team.
