Varejao vs. New Jersey
What can I say about the kid from Brazil....
portugues:
O jovem jogou um jogo excelente de basquetebol. Trabalhe Anderson Duro!
English:
The Young man played an excellent game of basketball. Anderson Works HARD !
It's easy to like this kid. I hope he continues to develop and gets stronger. He looks like a solid player.

He works so hard that you hardly notice that he's outweighed by half of the players on the court. He needs to work a little on his offense but his shot blocking and rebounding will give him minutes.

The kid has some talent for sure. Don't know wha it is about him: seems to have good athletic ability, good size, good attitude. Nothing exceptional in a any one category but come to together in a nice package when combined with his attitude on the court. the dude wants the boards

Someone said he needs to work on offense, i think that is his strong part. I believe he played alittle Small forward in brazil but manly Power foward. He can hit the long jumper as he showed tonight and finish down low when given the pass.
I like him he will start seeing more minutes. All in all our starters played really well. I think gooden was in one of the games where he was out of control. Even thought he has 19-8 i think but i was at the game and he took some bad shots and some stupid over the back fouls.

From this new generation of Brazilian Players Varejão was and always will be my favorite.
I love his perssonality and the way he makes everything look so simple. I remember the last Brazil x USA game where he was the only guy in the Brazilian team to face US team as an equal. The first half of that game it was great, his dunk over O´Neal was great, the crossover on Iverson was fantastic. He show some Americans for the first time what he can do. I guess it was Jermaine O´Neal who said something like "I Dont know what he's waiting to go to the NBA, he should be there already".
LBJ to LJ for 3 - No man, he never played SF in here, he played PF and C. Maybe he played SF in Barcelona, but im not sure.
LOYALTY - Nice dude, just one thing, in the end it shoud be: "Trabalhe Duro Anderson".

Yeah, he played some SF in Spain. Especially in his first season.

I don't think so.
Maybe I'm wrong, but I don't remember him playing as SF...

Thanks.. I'm an American, so I will never really know how to speak it properly ..lol. but I will learn enough portugues to tell Anderson he is a good player if I ever see him around Cleveland.

He is definitely the steal of the second round of the draft!

Hornets First Round Pick Chris Paul on playing with J.R. Smith:
"It's going to be too exciting to play alongside J.R. He loves to play above the rim and I love to put it above the rim for him to catch it. I'm just excited because he's a young, up-and-coming player just like myself."
