After losing a game to the Rockets and seeing James go down, the Cavaliers need to come out swinging. The Bobcats are going to hustle, stick around and seek to scrap with the Cavaliers to the wire. If LeBron plays, there will be questions of whether he starts or comes off the bench. If LeBron doesn’t play, the other Cavaliers are going to need to double their production because the team is hopelessly lost without him. On the Bobcats’ side of things, Okafor has been Mr. Consistent with his string of double-doubles. Drew is going to have to battle hard with Okafor on the glass.
Cleveland’s power forwards cannot afford to be dominated on the glass or intimidated on offense.
CLEVELAND (AP) - LeBron James was fitted with a mask to protect his broken left cheek and might play in the Cleveland Cavaliers' next game even though he only shot during practice Sunday.
"I feel a lot better, there's still a little pain, but that's nothing," said James, injured by Houston center Dikembe Mutombo's elbow during a game Wednesday night. "It was one of the hardest hits I ever took. I've never felt anything like that."
He did not accompany the Cavaliers on their trip Sunday to North Carolina for Monday night's game against the Charlotte Bobcats. But the reigning NBA Rookie of the Year is expected to join his teammates, and he could still play against Charlotte.
Not to wish this apon anyone. But remember last year when Lebron went down, and Carlos Boozer came out of no where and took the team on his back. And then played great the whole year.
Maybe James sitting the next 2 games (bobcats, hawks) would be better. And maybe sasha/luke/gooden will really step up.
Just my thoughts......

The problem with that theory is that Silas will never give Luke minutes ahead of Harris or probably even Sasha even if Lebron does sit out.
I think we have a better than 50% chance of beating charlotte with Lebron out. I don't think we could beat Atlanta. So if he's less than game ready, sit him out and rest him up for the Hawks game.
"This season has been one giant pile of suck. It's been just good enough to keep paying attention. But horrible enough that you were better off if you didn't."
Bron is flowing out there, not trying to do much. Rocking the three-quarter mask (not a full in size). The Bobcats are playing well, thanks in large part to Okafor. Silas would probably like to use James sparingly tonight but that might not be possible if the Bobcats keep it up.
Close game. I am not sure if Cleveland will be able to create separation tonight or not. While Okafor is beasting, Drew and Anderson have provided the goods themselves as well.
The Cavaliers went out to a lead, only to see the Bobcats cut it down to 5. Even with this lead, Charlotte is going to keep making runs. James and Gooden need to keep it up and things should be fine.
James having some dunks out there. The usual, jackhammer variety but that last one was so hard, it sounded like somebody fired a gun in the stadium. That ball was slammed hard.
