I asked him about the Mavs and he said "Maybe he'd sell them"...

I dunno, Cuban is one of those guys who does stuff and either way he's pry been frustrated with the Mavs in the past couple years.

I dont know if this is true, but it might not be far fetched.

Cuban is from Pittsburgh and Cleveland is the closest NBA team to him.

WHen he was a kid, he often came to Cleveland to do his business so he has ties here.

But its a little too late, Gilbert already has them.

Would the NBA even allow an owner to sell one team and then come right back and buy another? It seems like a league where once you buy a team, you have it for as long as you want it, but if you sell it it'd be hard to get back into that fraternity of owners.
