With the West Coast road swing coming up, the Cavaliers want to close out their stay East with one last win. The Bobcats are not going to want to drop another game to the Cavaliers, so it’s up to Silas to make sure the boys don’t come out lackadaisical. Okafor is going to come strong at Anderson/Drew to show his second half fall-off was a fluke. The Cavaliers’ power fowards must hold their own again on the boards.
With everybody buying into James’ message of pass-first, the Cavaliers have soared to new heights. While the Cavaliers must not look ahead, the games out West will be telling of this squad.
Did anyone see the article about Anderson V. having 33 rebounds in 66 minutes. I know we have been rolling with this lineup and how things are working. But does anyone think Anderson might be in the starting lineup over Gooden before the year is over and possible the start of next year.
Or with his reckless effort can his boby only manage 20-25 min ???

With Mr. Glass and Marshall gone who now can I hate too see playing on the Cavaliers.
I don't know if he would be as effective playing 30min... He's still a rookie you know... He might make stupid mistakes disappear from games sometimes... And he would not be alble to run and fight like he does in 20...
Keep Gooden in the line up but give anderson 25 minutes instead of 20

Has Drew played center at all this year? In nba2k5 I think they would sub in people and Drew would be put at the 5. Usually he's PF, but has he ever played center this year?

I was wondering about the same thing, Gooden is playing great ball but Varejao is right there on a per minute basis. I think right now it's best to have him come off the bench for 2 reasons
1) Gooden plays better as a starter in a defined role. You saw what happened in Orlando when they tried bringing him off the bench.
2) Varejao's energy is great to have coming off our bench. He plays all out, let him keep doing it in 25 mins a game like an above poster mentioned.
"This season has been one giant pile of suck. It's been just good enough to keep paying attention. But horrible enough that you were better off if you didn't."
The Bobcats had some bench players (Bogans, Kapono) rain some jumpers and some of the rebounds kicked long, giving Charlotte second chance points. Silas used his bench some in the second quarter and even mixed some starters/bench players together (he often does all starters or all bench, so this is nice to see another dimension in terms of strategy). Snow had a nice walk-off 3 to end the half.
Great shot at the buzzer by Snow... Lebron playing great and Varejao too with another solid energetic night... We need to step it up to pick this win... it should be easier!

Why the hell did McGinnis take the shot so quickly? Christ there was like 6 seconds left.
And How did Bogans miss that shot? LOL man that was like a 3 foot chip shot. I thought for sure we had lost the game.
Brevin Night seemed like he wanted this game bad.
