Cleveland at Seattle (1/16/05)
 @
6:00 pm PT, 9:00 pm ET
Cleveland had a great come-from-behind win against the Jazz and now Silas’ squad will face an even steeper challenge in the form of the Sonics. The zone, which helped the Cavaliers defensively, will be of no use against Seattle. This game will be decided man-to-man. Playing back-to-back games is a situation the Cavaliers have often not handled well in the past (coming out flat in the secod game). On the Sonics' side of things, Rashard Lewis and Reggie Evans will be game time decisions.
Having played 41 minutes last night and facing a high quality team that requires James to stay on the floor, will James be fine tonight or will he tire?

I don't know if the Cavs will win this since Lebron doesn't play as well on back to back but I wouldn't be surprised with a win here just based on the odds.
The Cavs have played like crap for three straight games and so I figure their due.
The Lebron/Lewis matchup will be fun. I'm hoping to see some improved D on part of Bron. Seattle will have a huge edge when the bench come in.
I'm also hoping that Silas will go with a Gooden/Anderson frontcourt to counteract Seattle on the boards

It sounds like NO Rashard Lewis. The Cavaliers have to take advantage of that. Gooden, LeBron, and Newble have to be able to defend against the 3's. Z has to find a way to dominate.

Daniels penetrating at will. Ridenhour stealing the ball. McGinnis will sit early and Snow will come in. Z and Gooden playing SOFT down low so far.
It's still very early, but they better wake up while they can.

Halftime
Cavaliers - 55
Sonics - 53
James (19 points, 4 assists) and Gooden (15 points, 2 rebounds) lead the way. Both teams have 2 guys in double figures who are playing well. I hope Big Z can start knocking down some field goals in the second half.

Z is pathetic in this game, and in the few games I watch him play. He's slow and not athletic, and has few post moves apart from backing down and shooting a hook shot. Would you guys resign him for certain this summer?
