Washington at Cleveland (1/24/05)

The Washington Wizards have played great basketball this season and Cleveland is fortunate to face these guys at home. Snow needs another strong game like he had against the Warriors (where he looked very nice). Arenas has played well against Cleveland in the past and there is no reason why that shouldn’t be the case tonight. Getting Z some baskets early should be an early priority in the game. If he can get the Wizards into foul trouble, the inside-out game will be established.
Snow is going to get his second straight start. |

Anyone know for sure if Jmac is available to suit up tonight?
I think this is a statement game for us, Washington has the same record and has won something like 9 out of their last 11.
Snow is gonna have to step up and slow down Arenas, and we need to establish a decent lead early. I don't want to be in a close game down the stretch with them since i've seen Arenas pulling games away by himself 1 on 1.

McInnis injured his foot last week in Sacramento and sat out the finale of the Cavaliers' six-game road trip on Saturday. With Eric Snow replacing McInnis in the starting lineup, Cleveland beat Golden State to finish the trip 3-3.
Snow had 16 points and 12 assists in his first start. The veteran was acquired in the summer as protection for the Cavaliers, who lost 11 of 12 and faded from the playoff race late last season when McInnis was sidelined with shoulder injury.
McInnis, who is in the final year of his contract with Cleveland, is the Cavs' third-leading scorer with 15.1 points and 5.3 assists a game.
The Cavaliers led the Central Division by 1 1/2 games entering Monday night's game against the Washington Wizards.

Well I hope they win this one. They let a couple of game go out on the trip and Washington doesn't have Hughes so Lebron should have a field day

Cleveland looks good out there. Nice ball movement, strong floor running and good defense.

Whats concerning me is that the only person hitting from outside so far tonight is Newble. Thats never a good sign. Of course if they keep letting us get to the basket I guess it won't matter.

Cavaliers - 40
Wizards - 30
The zone baffled Cleveland towards the end of the quarter. They need to stop standing around. A few Cavs' players need to watch their fouls in the second half.

The problem is that nobody is hitting their shots. LeBron, Snow and Harris all appear to be a bit off today. Thats not good

Yeah he's quick, but if it weren't for all the questionable foul calls it wouldn't matter. It's not like he is making alot of shots.
