Memphis at Cleveland (1/26/05)
 @
4:00 pm PT, 7:00 pm ET
Cleveland will have a day’s rest and catch the Grizzlies coming into this game off a back-to-back. The loss to the Wizards highlighted Cleveland's poor perimeter defense. Even if Silas feels his horse (James) and other players don’t get whistles when they put the ball on the floor, he needs to keep encouraging his players to drive. If Cleveland lets opponents double their free-throw attempts, winning games will be next to impossible. It appears Pau Gasol will be out of action: Click Me!
Cleveland needs for Drew to show up and have a huge game.

Man are we without both Varejao and Jmac?
Gonna be rough to pull this one off if they can't go. McInnis injury didn't even seem all that serious, we need his scoring back asap.
Memphis is another team with alot of 3pt shooters which always causes us problems. Jwill didn't play the last time we beat them either so watch for his penetration.
I'm also hoping Silas doesn't play Lebron for 48 mins again, Sasha is more than capable of filling in and was adding a nice scoring lift off the bench.

We have Not been playing well at all in January IMO. This would be the first real quality win we've had in awhile

I don't wanna be a the pessimist around here but without Jmac and Varejao our chances are slim...

This means big minutes for Snow and Gooden. I still like are chances especially if Gasol is out. Gooden against Swift is going to be a bit of a challenge however.

Another Cavalier goes down with injury.
Halftime
Grizzlies - 57
Cavaliers - 63
High scoring affair. Few defensive stops/plays on either side of the ball.

Looks like LeBron is having a great game. 15 points (5-6 shooting, 2-2 from 3), 8 assists, 3 rebounds, a steal, and a block. And no turnovers.

Yeah it looks like the rebounds are going to be the issue for LeBron this evening.
