Toronto at Cleveland (2/8/05)
 @
4:00 pm PT, 7:00 pm ET
Cleveland broke their losing streak with a win over Orlando and faces the Raptors in the second game of the homestand. Gooden has to be consistent and on-point against Bosh, who has played well this year. One thing to note is how Bosh has drawn a large amount of fouls in some games and since Cleveland’s interior defense is sometimes shakey, the Raptors should attack. Cleveland needs this game in hopes of tying the Pistons for the Central Division lead.
Big Z will need a big game and might come out with extra bounce in his step since being named an Eastern Conference All-Star reserve.

Nice analysis Remy, I agree with all the points you mention.
Also i'm very surprised that Big Z made it to the all-star game, when is the last time 2 guys from the Cavs made it!!

Lebron has that look in his eye tonight, I wouldn't be surprised if he has a big game (if the raps can keep it close)

End of 1st
Raptors - 23
Cavaliers - 32
Strong offensive quarter. Talk about up-and-down basketball - the pace was very quick out there. James is playing the all-around game and Z is being aggressive down low.

What is Bonner's contract situation? He would be a nice shooter to bring in here off the bench next season.
Also Moiso doing a solid job out there.

I dunno about Bonner but he is a nifty shooter. Everytime I see him, he's hitting shots. Nice guy.
Halftime
Raptors - 43
Cleveland - 57
The bench came into the game around the 9:30 mark of the second quarter and stayed in for the rest of the game. The Raptors had Rose and Bosh and other players out there (bench guys like Bonner). I'm shocked the bench played good enough to remain out there and rest the starters so long.

This was a great half. Even if i wasnt a Cavaliers fan i dont know how you couldnt be.
1. The starters run the floor up and down and Lebron does everything.
2. The "Bench Bunch" plays hard nose Defense and plays some very good basketball.
Does anyone think that Sasha should remain in the starting lineup. He is more like our starting lineup; He gets up and down the floor and can shoot the 3-point shot.
While the Trio of Snow,Harris,Newble is a pretty good defensive unit.
I think Sasha should remain as a starter.... Anyone else ???

Yeah i could dig Sasha as a starter. Newble isn't a starter anyway you slice it. And having Newble and Snow off the bench for defense is nice.

End of 3rd

Cavaliers - 83
The Cavaliers need to be on the watch for a miracle Raptor's style comeback. This team has been able to come from behind and win a few games, despite being down by double-digits. Keep the pressure up and don't let up.

I see what they do, they suck for 3 1/2 quarters and lull you into a false sense of security. Then during garbage time they start playing harder.

Final
Raptors - 91
Cavaliers - 104
Traylor played huge off the bench tonight. He had a double-double and came up with key offensive rebounds (a few of which led to dunks).
