Allen, Johnson, Redd, Hughes
Ray Allen
Joe Johnson
Michael Redd
Larry Hughes
These are the top 4 FA SGs this summer. Which one is best? Which one do you want? Which one do you think you'll get?
There's been a lot of talk about how Cleveland should sign Redd, but for my money, I would rather have Johnson or Hughes. Allen is better, but he's older.

In order..
Joe Johnson
Redd
Hughes
Dont want Allen at all, we wouldnt be able to get Z back if we got him.

Allen is the best, of course. But I having Johnson would be spectacular as would Redd.

I think Johnson would be the best fit next to James, aside from Allen obviously.

I do too.. he's got the all-around game of a star, but a supporting player's mentality. And he's a good enough shooter.

The two biggest weaknesses on the perimeter for the Cavs are shooting and defense:
Ray Allen would be great but is used to being the main guy and is getting up there in terms of years Unrestricted FA
Hughes young, good defender and can score but his shooting isn't as good as others Unrestricted FA
Redd young, great shooter, but not a good defender. Unrestricted FA
Someone people keep forgetting: Bobby Simmons. Obviously not as talented as the rest but young, would come cheaper, can shoot, and can defend. Unrestricted FA
Finally the best fit and someone I'm still cursing Paxson for passing over Diop:
Joe Johnson: young, good defender, and good shooter. Too bad he's restricted

JJ should be the Cavs' target, assuming they can resign Z. Allen will want too much money and is getting old and Hughes will probably stay with the Wizards. Redd is a good possibility, but apparently the Bucks are trying hard to keep him away from Cleveland.

I agree with everyone else, Johnson is by far the best fit for the Cavs.
I just don't see Phoenix letting him go for nothing
